2024 Annual Report
GROUNDED IN PLACE
As Ball Brothers Foundation approaches its 100th year, we find ourselves reflecting on the impact of a nearly century-long commitment to our community, including the natural landscapes, people, and cherished traditions that have sustained that impact through generations.
In 2024, we were reminded of the power of place and of the outdoors as a source of both learning and inspiration. We reflected on the rivers that wind through our region, the trails that connect us, and the forests that invite exploration and spark a sense of wonder. Just as meaningful are the collective efforts of our community to care for these spaces and ensure they endure.
This year’s annual report celebrates organizations that are doing just that—preserving the beauty of our region and nurturing a love of the outdoors in future generations. In the report we highlight efforts focused on expanding land conservation, restoring the White River’s delicate ecosystem, and building new facilities at Camp Crosley, a century-old YMCA of Muncie camp. Camp Crosley has long been a place dear to the Ball family and to generations of campers from across Indiana and beyond.
