President and Chief Operating Officer
A Michigan native, Michael Justin (Jud) Fisher is a graduate of DePauw University and the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. He joined Ball Brothers Foundation in 2003 after working in administration for Old National Bancorp. In addition to his duties as president and chief operating officer of BBF, he serves on the boards of several regional and statewide organizations including the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, Delaware Advancement Corporation, IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Methodist Health Foundation, Edmund F. & Virginia B. Ball Foundation, Indiana Trust Company, Muncie Aviation Company, Old National Bank Regional Advisory Council, Owl Academic & Athletic Boosters, Red-tail Land Conservancy, YMCA Camp Crosley Board of Managers and IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy Board of Visitors. He is the grandson of John W. Fisher and Janice Ball Fisher (1916-2010), the youngest daughter of BBF founder E. B. Ball.
Senior Program Officer
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, BBF program officer Rich Spisak holds degrees from Miami University at Oxford, Ohio, and the University of Colorado. He joined Ball Brothers Foundation staff in 2008 after successfully serving on the football coaching staffs at four universities and on the development staff at Ball State University. His responsibilities at BBF includes researching program areas, reviewing grant requests, conducting site visits and tracking project results.
Jenna Wachtmann joined the program staff at BBF in 2014 after working as a development officer for a social service agency in Indianapolis and as an intern for the U.S. Department of State, Office of Innovation. She is an honors graduate of Abilene Christian University in Texas and has also earned a certificate in nonprofit management from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI in 2012 and an executive master of arts degree in philanthropic studies at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy in 2015.
Grant Process Manager
Before joining the BBF staff as grant process manager, Donna Munchel worked for 11 years at her alma mater, Ball State University. Her duties at the Foundation include the overview and management of all grant intake and fulfillment activities.
