IU Center on Philanthropy releases new report

The IU Center on Philanthropy has released a new report, Nonprofit Capacity Assessment: Indiana Charities, 2007, based on a survey recently completed for the Indiana Grantmakers Alliance (IGA) in collaboration with Lumina Foundation for Education (LFE), the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, and IU's School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

"As the report documents, securing financial resources presents the most severe and widespread challenge to Indiana charities, followed by marketing and networking and advocacy, with information technology, human resources, planning and programs, and governance and operations following in close succession", says Kirsten Gronbjerg, project director.
