Ball General Grants
Ball Brothers Foundation offers two types of General Grants. Program/Project grants are for requests with a specific Program/Project focus. Operating grants are for requests for general operating support.
Ball General Grant requests must begin with a Preliminary Letter of Inquiry. The letter will be reviewed and potential applicants will be notified within 10 working days whether they will be invited to submit a full proposal.
Ball Rapid Grants
A limited number of Rapid Grants are designed to provide funding to organizations that require immediate funding for the following types of needs, but not limited to: continue a project, provide professional development, buy equipment or materials for a project, travel to meet representatives to advance ideas for a project, formulate a project idea, carry out a mandated law or event, or for seed money to begin a new project. Rapid Grant requests should not exceed $5,000. Please Note: Rapid Grants will not support requests for scholarships.
Ball Rapid Grants do not require a Preliminary Letter of Inquiry.
